RMS Remote Mid-Span Stripper
- Remote Mid-Span Stripper will quickly and safely remove insulation from tree wire & spacer cable with cable ODs of .600 to 1.75in (15.24 to 44.45 mm) and voltages of 15 KV to 34.5KV
- Tool will mid-span strip any phase without removing the conductor from the spacers
- Designed for one-man hand operation from a bucket
- The tool's head is surrounded by an insulated Delrin housing with an insulated stick and epoxy shaft connecting the head to the gearbox
- Each cable size requires a seperate bushing
- Each bushing comes with a wire gauge to ensure the proper bushing is used on the wire
- The hot stick can be fabricated to a variety of lenths as requested
- Length and weight vary according to customer specifications: for a 4' model, overall length is 73" (1.85 m) and weight is 11 lbs (5kg)
